Saturday, October 12th, 1 PM - 3 PM
Everyone has a story. What's yours?
We all have beliefs, life experiences and an upbringing that makes us unique. It shapes us into who we are and how we view the world. It's our story.
The Human Library is the venue to tell that story.
Through positive, constructive conversations with your fellow community members, the Human Library helps combat stereotypes, promote empathy and allows you to exchange ideas and discuss unique experiences with each other.
Human Books and the Readers that check them out sit down for about 20 minutes per conversation. It's an opportunity to learn how other's view the world and learn more about your Selinsgrove neighbors.
If you are interested in being a Human Book, sign up via this form or contact Ryan Ake with any questions you may have. Check out the For Books and For Readers pages at the top for more information, expectations and responsibilities for the event.
For examples of different Human Books, you can check out the official Human Library page.
